Best path for me to become an airline pilot?
I'm a 20 year old freshman in college. I cannot join the military. Should i take part 61 lessons at my local small airport right now? or should i wait until after college to go to a flying academy such as ATP, flight safety etc? Right now im working part time in school and i can pay for 1 lesson a week some weeks even 2 and i already have 22 hours from 5 years ago i used to take flying lessons but had to stop. My goal is to oneday fly for a major airline around the world ofcourse i realize this is a far way away. I am majoring in finance and perhaps will land a financial job right out of college so i can keep flying and building hours as a flight instuctor or go to work for a charter company then to the regional and then to the majors. What should i do and do i have a good plan?
